Banner Raids & ambassador Club Visits
In the past, Banner Raids were made to encourage groups of dancers from area clubs to visit each other. Meet new people! Make new friends! Recently, Orange Blossom Squares has begun to reactivate this practice by conducting less formal Ambassador Visits to other clubs in the area. An Ambassador Visit involves club members traveling as a group or team to another club dance. In return, we look forward to those club members visiting us at Orange Blossom Squares.

Dancer Reaches Banner Raid milestone 400 July 2019
Bruce & Roberta Troop
Long-time club member, Bruce Troop, reached his 400th banner raid at Ocala Twirlers Ocala FL in 2019. Bruce and his late wife, Roberta, were Banner Raid Chairpersons for a number of years. Bruce was recognized for his achievement with a plaque that also honored his wife. His accomplishment was celebrated with cake and balloons.
